My Story
HI Everyone!
I've been sharing Scentsy since October 2012 and it was probably one of the smartest decisions I ever made! But it didn't start off that simple...
I was first introduced to Scentsy probably back in 2010, but I shrugged it off because it wasn't candles... and I loved my candles... My sister in law was having a book party and I just told her I would LOOK at a catalog. Well, I looked and found a warmer that I could "live" with having on my TV stand all of the time. I remember my first bar was "jumpin' jelly bean" because it was the Scent of the Month and it was on sale. So my order came in and I set up this "warmer", not knowing that this was the beginning of a very long love affair. Once I started to smell all of the other scents and loving the way it made my house feel, I was hooked! My daughter's preschool teacher then sold Scentsy and I started ordering from her regularly. Then I decided to have a book party. She gave me a basket with ALL of the scents to "try on" and smell... I was in Heaven! I shared this with my sister-in-law and then she was hooked too. She decided to have a book party as well. Well her and I talked about it and decided to sign up as consultants and we would help each other and share Scentsy with everyone we knew!
So I originally signed up to support my ADDICTION! LOL! I LOVED SCENTSY! But now I SHARE Scentsy because I LOVE SCENTSY! I honestly can say, that I love the company and what it's about and the values it's built on. I love the friendships I've developed along the way! I love the team I'm building and the support we give each other! I feel I have purpose and I have goals. It's such a satisying feeling to work hard and attain those goals every month. I love sharing Scentsy with everyone I meet! And a bonus, I’ve earned 5 incentive trips along the way... destinations I’ve alwsys wanted to visit but never had the money... Las Vegas, Nashville, Punta Cana and most recently, a Mediterranean Cruise, Cancun and Marco Island! I got to cross all of these destinations off my bucket list!!! Including ITALY!!!
After going to Nashville in 2016, my husband decided to join me in this adventure! He saw first hand what this company is all about and supports this business 150%. I was promoted to Director in April of 2017! I have a team of over 115 and a group of almost 500 ladies & gentlemen that I adore! We all work together, motivate and support each other. We've built a wonderful Scentsy family and always accepting new members!
Becoming a new Scentsy Director, I get the privilege of choosing a formal name for my team... So I wanted to choose something that was meaningful for me while encompassing the Scentsy spirit and Journey of being a Scentsy family member...
I wanted something that included a butterfly because butterflies mean so many different things to me (represents my dad who passed away, my weight loss journey, it's also a symbol of Scentsy)... But I didn't know how to describe what I wanted to express... Then one night putting on my daughters PJs, I saw it... Butterfly Dreams... That was it! The next day, I received a beautiful Alex and Ani bracelet from my Star Director coincidentally with a butterfly on it that said "transformation, change, and trust"... Again, things just fit together... I wanted three words to describe my life journey, my Scentsy journey, my Scentsy family... Things happen for a reason and always seem to fall into place...

This is what my life, my team, my butterflies mean to me... So completely fulfilling when everything comes full circle and goals are accomplished! You can stumble, you can fall, but the only way to fail is to quit!
